1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and DOPE BBQ, produced by The General Public ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the dopebbqs.com website (the "Site") and attendance at our events.

By accessing our Site, purchasing tickets, requesting guest list placement, subscribing to our newsletter, or attending our events, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

To attend DOPE BBQ events, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age with valid government-issued photo ID
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Not be prohibited from attending events under applicable law

Acceptable forms of ID: Driver's license, passport, or state-issued ID. Expired IDs will not be accepted. No exceptions.

3. Our Services

DOPE BBQ is Brooklyn's premier summer party experience, produced by The General Public since 2015. Our services include:

3.1 Annual Summer Event

We produce NYC's livest summer BBQ event featuring DJs, gourmet food, open bar, and celebrity guests. Events are typically held at THE WELL, Brooklyn.

3.2 Ticket Sales

We offer General Admission, VIP Experience, and Table Service tickets for our events.

3.3 Newsletter & Communications

We provide email newsletters containing event announcements, early access to tickets, and promotional offers.

4. Ticket Purchases

4.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. Early bird and tier pricing may apply.

4.2 What's Included

• General Admission: Event entry, open bar, food included
• VIP Experience: Early entry, premium bar, priority food service, exclusive VIP section
• Table Service: Reserved table, premium bottles, VIP benefits, dedicated server

4.3 Transferability

Tickets may be transferred to another person up to 48 hours before the event by contacting us. The new ticket holder must meet all eligibility requirements.

5. Refund Policy

Exceptions:

• Event cancellation: If we cancel the event due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, ticket holders will receive a full refund
• Ticket transfer: Tickets may be transferred to another eligible person up to 48 hours before the event

6. Event Conduct

At DOPE BBQ events, attendees must:

• Present valid 21+ government-issued photo ID at entry
• Follow all venue rules and safety guidelines
• Treat staff, other attendees, and property with respect
• Adhere to the dress code (upscale casual / summer chic)
• Consume alcohol responsibly
• Not bring prohibited items (weapons, illegal substances, outside food/drinks)
• Comply with reasonable requests from event staff

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who violates these rules without refund.

6.1 Dress Code

Dress code is upscale casual / summer chic. No athletic wear, tank tops (men), slides/flip flops, or overly casual attire. When in doubt, dress to impress. Management reserves the right to refuse entry based on attire.

7. Photography & Media

By attending DOPE BBQ events, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your likeness in promotional materials, social media, and marketing without compensation.

8. Assumption of Risk

By attending DOPE BBQ events, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with attending public events, including but not limited to:

• Exposure to loud music
• Crowded conditions
• Food allergies (we cannot guarantee allergen-free food)
• Alcohol consumption
• Weather conditions (for outdoor events)

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOPE BBQ, THE GENERAL PUBLIC, AND THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ATTENDANCE AT OUR EVENTS.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for your ticket.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DOPE BBQ, The General Public, and their affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your attendance at our events
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any false or misleading information you provide

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Brooklyn, New York.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of our Site or attendance at our events constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
